These are the best five from the photos that I took. I think that they were the best because they used shadows to look a little scary the best. I learned that lighting and where the lighting comes from and the kind of lighting can really change the feeling of your photo. In the first photo I just used my flash from above. In the others I used a little Toy Story light that projects pictures so it had different colors. I took them all under my desk so that it would be dark. I also used different angles to aim the light at the subject. This was a lot of fun and I learned a lot from it.
I really like the picture of the doll. The light that is cast across the figure gives it a really creepy feeling. You did a great job of using a variety of different lights to get various shadows. I like the creativity you exhibited in the composition of your photos.
ReplyDeleteI really like the third picture because of how the light is mostly on her face, creepy. I also like how you used different angles. The different colors in these pictures creates emphasis and a sense of movement.
ReplyDeleteI really like the third image - the way the lighting falls on the dolls face is ultra creepy!! I love the different lighting you tried - especially the spotlighting. Nice work.
ReplyDeleteI really like that you can see part of the subject, but the rest of it is underexposed. This really gives your images a creepy feel! I particularly like the third image - the swath of exposure and the rest underexposed makes it very creepy and interesting.
ReplyDeleteI like the picture of the doll. I like how the light contrasts against the black background.
ReplyDeleteI really like the picture of the doll with the diagonal shadow. It is really eerie. It really shows your skill in photography that you were able to produce those photos.
ReplyDeleteI like the picture of a hand. The strong orange light behind the subject reminds me of a full harvest moon.
ReplyDeleteThat fourth one was awesome, the shadow was really creepy. Your third one was really creepy too. Good job!
